Meet Andrew P. Abood
Andrew P. Abood is a lifelong resident of the Lansing area and a respected attorney with a legal career spanning decade. A 1983 Sexton High School graduate, he earned a B.A. in Finance from Michigan State University's Business School in 1987. He then obtained his Juris Doctorate from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 1990, graduating in the Top 5 of his class.
Beyond his legal career, Andrew has been a lifelong competitive golfer. He played varsity golf for the Sexton Big Reds, helping the team secure a second-place finish in the state in 1982. He continued his golf career at Michigan State University, playing for the MSU golf team. Since graduation, he has remained an active competitor in the sport. His deep ties to MSU athletics have made him a well-known figure in the Spartan community, where he is on a first-name basis with many of the university’s coaches.
As an attorney, Andrew's legal practice has taken him across the country, handling numerous high-profile and nationally recognized cases. His expertise has earned him appearances on major national news programs, including Larry King Live, Nancy Grace, Megyn Kelly, Jane Velez-Mitchell, and other prominent media outlets.
With a distinguished career in both law and athletics, Andrew P. Abood remains a pillar of the Lansing community, dedicated to his profession and his lifelong passion for sports.
